Corica Park feels deliberate.

Unlike older municipal courses that evolve over time, Corica presents as a fully considered environment that is rebuilt with intention, shaped by modern design thinking, and grounded in sustainability.

The South Course reflects the work of Rees Jones, where visual clarity and playability are prioritized without removing challenge.

Fairways are wide enough to invite play, but not careless. Greens are expressive, but readable.

For women golfers, especially across mixed skill levels, Corica creates something that feels open without feeling too easy. There’s space to swing, space to recover, and space to stay in the round mentally. The environment reinforces it.

Players navigate through restored wetlands and native landscapes, creating a sense of separation and calm that carries throughout the round. What’s great is you’re not left fighting the design but aware of it was you move from hole to hole.

  • “Wind completely changed how I played and had to rethink every shot.”

“Didn’t feel judged at all, just felt like the course itself was the challenge.”

“Post-round was quiet, almost empty. Nothing overly social was going on which was nice. It was real peaceful.”

  • Not every golf course needs to feel pristine to be valuable. There is a difference between environmental difficulty and structural neglect. Sharp Park sits directly on that edge.

The course doesn’t need to be refined to provide a great experience.

  • Sharp Park Golf Course does not deliver a built post-round experience. There is not a strong clubhouse pull, no designed space to gather or extend the round.

    Instead, the after-layer is external:

    • the parking lot

    • the ocean nearby

    • your own decision to stay or leave

There is space to pause but it is not intentionally created.

  • Best for:

    • Players comfortable adapting to environment

    • Those who appreciate design history

    • Rounds that feel more solitary than social

    Challenges:

    • First-time players

    • Highly structured or social golf days

Help women golfers discover and play the best courses.
