LACEY, CEO & FOUNDER
PARLO is shaped by a founder who has spent years paying attention to what most systems overlook: the moment when effort stops, but the athlete’s body hasn’t caught up yet. The space after output where composure is still expected, even as fatigue sets in.
Her work begins with noticing what happens when athletes are no longer being evaluated, and how rarely they are given environments that respect both their capability and their exhaustion without asking them to choose between the two.
She does not guide people through experiences or tell them what to do once they arrive. Instead, she designs the conditions that make direction unnecessary. Spaces where the body can slow without losing dignity, and where nothing has to be explained in order to be allowed.
PARLO carries this sensibility throughout its work as a practice. The standard is held quietly, protected carefully, and felt most when nothing else is happening.
She designed PARLO with you in mind.
